In this illustration I attempted to capture “Imago Dei” – the Latin phrase meaning “the Image of God”. The lion face with the crown obviously references Jesus’ kingship which I contrasted with some more subtle elements symbolizing His sacrificial love (the tear, the thorn pattern on the crown and of course, the cross). I created the design for this years men’s retreat t-shirt.
