This is a continuation of my epic family vacation series. In 2018 we rented a van and toured the coast of California. It was honestly life changing. We started off in San Francisco, headed South to Big Sur and then turned around and headed North to Redwood National Park. Many stops were made along the way; each one special in its own way.
I decided to focus this illustration around the van since it was such a central piece of this trip. Wherever we went, there it was with us. While all of the scenery we saw was amazing, those massive redwoods were a force to be reckoned with. I had to include them in this design. Future trips will surely include mountains, beaches, lakes, etc… but who knows when I’ll see trees quite like that again.
