As a high school art teacher I come across a lot of haphazard criticism. Not towards myself but from student to student. I find that kids very unabashdly comment on others work with no thought at all and it totally crushes the other student. For me I triy to teach the students the elements and principles of art so that they wll know how to properly talk about art. I also never let them say "just cause," they always need to back up their thoughts with a real and thought out reason.
